David Hares wedding photography and wedding photojournalism. I work as a wedding photographer, wedding photojournalist, commercial photographer and photojournalist.

The style of my photography is candid, spontaneous and natural with no posing or staging of events. This is known as reportage wedding photography or wedding photojournalism. Normally I begin with the bride getting ready and continue throughout the day documenting the wedding ceremony, wedding breakfast, the speeches, the cutting of the cake and the first dance. I normally give my clients a set of about 500 photographs. My aim is to give each bride and groom a beautiful set of images which completely documents their wedding day.

Many of my clients comment on my ability to blend in and be unobtrusive on their day. This I believe is very important and is usually the difference between a more traditional wedding photographer and a wedding photojournalist. I love my job and take great pride in the work I produce and feel very privileged to be a wedding photographer.

I am a member of the Wedding Photojournalist Association (WPJA) and a member of the Association of Photographers (AOP).
